Risk Disclosure
Last updated:
Trading foreign exchange (Forex) and contracts for difference (CFDs) on gold and oil carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for everyone. Please read this disclosure carefully before you start trading.
1. You can lose all your capital
Leveraged trading can result in the loss of all the money you invest and, with some brokers, even more. Never trade with money you cannot afford to lose.
2. Leverage
Leverage magnifies both profits and losses. A small price movement against your position can cause a large loss relative to your deposit.
3. Volatility, gaps and slippage
Gold and oil are highly volatile. Economic news, oil contract rollovers and weekend closures can cause price gaps and slippage, so orders — including stop-losses — may be executed at a worse price than requested.
4. Past performance
Results shown on this website are historical, expressed in pips and do not include individual spreads, commissions or slippage. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results.
5. Indicators are tools, not guarantees
Our indicators do not trade automatically and can produce losing signals. Every trading decision and its consequences remain your responsibility.
6. No investment advice
Our programs are educational and do not take into account your financial situation, objectives or experience. If necessary, seek advice from an independent licensed financial adviser.
7. Broker risk
Choose a reputable, regulated broker. We are not responsible for the actions, insolvency or execution quality of any broker.
8. Our recommendation
Practise on a demo account first, risk no more than 1% of your capital per trade, follow daily and weekly loss limits and keep a trading journal.
